Constructivist Tailoring
The imminent fashion trend of complex, abstract hi-technique patterns is badged on catwalk shows and designers lookbooks. The heavy constructed, even architectural pattern cuts influence the body contoures and the silhouettes on the apparel side. The new shape casts into incredibly intricate moulds with complexity, but yet faceted a rather minimalistic appearance. Clean and the lack of embellished details lead to modern sculpted outfits, which are softened by combining sheer fabrics or soft materials like matted and felted fibres.
