Upshot.
Right back from the Fashion Week in Berlin to my design lab, I want to give a quick résumé. Next to the creative input I got, it was once again an extraordinary fashion gala performance and its side events were worth to join – no question- but one thing was different to all those Fashion Weeks I visited in the last three years around Europe like Copenhagen, London, Milan and Paris: The people.
Usually we are used to spot some fashion freaks [victims], which just want to show-off, hence attracting attention and trying everything to be highlighted in some popular street style blogs or magazines. Beautifully boring, I was positive surprised that hardly the professionals nor those who want to belong to them, were trying hard.
“Understatement” is the new fashion trend, the essence.
